In March 2009 LABLAW was recognized by the independent legal guide Legal 500 for their work in the field of Italian employment law firm. In their words: "LABLAW – Studio Legale Failla Rotondi & Partners is a ‘truly first-class’ employment law boutique advising on reorganizations, collective dismissals, labor-related litigation and employee benefits that provides ‘objective, concrete and effective answers’".

LABLAW Founding Partner Luca Failla is recognized in Legal Media Group’s Best of the Best Guide as one of the top three employment and labor law lawyers in Italy.

In January 2010 the international World Finance magazine presented LABLAW with the award for Best Industrial Relations and Labor Law Team 2010.  In their words, "In reviewing the year, the magazines judging panel ( which included World Finance editor Alexander Redcliffe, former BBC journalist Hywel Jones and a number of other  respected professionals) selected only those firms and individuals who have performed to the high standard.  With pleasure we honor those who have promoted excellence within the field."



On May 24th, 2010 LABLAW was nominated for The Lawyer’s European Niche Law Firm of the Year Award. It was an extreme honor to be nominated this award – especially as LABLAW won this exact same award in 2009 at The Lawyer's 1st Annual European Legal Awards.  The Lawyer commented on this year’s submissions stating, “This year’s event saw every category oversubscribed, with entries up more than 70 per cent on last year. Our 10 strong judging panel, made up of in-house heads of legal and  private practice, spent weeks sifting through the categories, the results of which can be seen in the shortlist ... More importantly, the quality impressed too, with one judge praising the “excellent” standard of the submissions.”

In July 2010 LABLAW Partners Luca Failla and  Piergiovanni Mandruzzato were recognized by the independent researchers at Who's Who Legal for their work in the field of Management Labor and Employment Law.

In August 2010 LABLAW was recognized  in the  field of labor and employee benefits by the notable independent legal directory PLC Which Lawyer? which ranked LABLAW as a leading top tier firm. In addition, partners Luca Failla, Francesco Rotondi and Angelo Quarto were specifically endorsed.

In September 2010 LABLAW was recognized by the international legal directory Chambers Europe for their work in the field of Italian employment and labor law.  In their words: "LABLAW enjoys a reputation as a talented young firm. On the evening of October 14th, 2010, at a gala dinner in London, LABLAW was Commended by the UK based Managing Partners’ Forum for Innovation in Parctice. This award recognises individuals or the management team that has pioneered an innovative initiative with impact, relevance and verifiable commercial value.  In their words, “Italian employment law boutique, LABLAW, was established in January 2006 and challenges the traditional assumptions people have about law firms in Italy, Rather than building a brand built around individuals (typically the senior partners of the firm), LABLAW focuses on the firm as a team.
